Babylon is falling! Neo-Confederates give up!
There is a song by a popular song composer during the Civil War titled "Babylon Has Fallen.". However, you couldn't sing it. It uses what was called "negro dialect" and uses the term "darkies." But the composer and the people who sang this song sang it in joy over the abolition of slavery and the achievements of African Americans in destroying slavery. Such were the times.
